Text Extractor Pro has the ability to scan any document you point your camera at and to then translate the text digitally. It works completely offline and this is of course a bonus, but in our tests we found that we had to be very careful when positioning the camera to get an accurate read. The app also struggled a little with formatting, particularly with narrow columns of text. Apart from these blips, there were moments of great clarity which highlighted how good it can be.
